Sebring X Delorosa Filly

A lovely 2YO type by champion sire Sebring, out of a 2YO winning mare from the family of Golden Slipper winner Polar Success, and Golden Slipper placegetter, Bring Me The Maid.

Sebring was a top class 2YO that won five of his six race starts. After winning the AJC Breeders Plate in his spring debut, he had wins in the Golden Slipper and AJC Sires Produce Stakes. However, his deeds in the breeding barn have far outweighed his success on the racetrack. 

Sebring is the sire of Group 1 winners such as Criterion, Dissident and Egg Tart. Elite Thoroughbreds has had much success with progeny of Sebring having purchased city winners Bringagem, Seeking Asylum and Stakes winner & Group 1 placed colt, Sebring Sun.

He will be trained by Gary Portelli, who also trained I’m All The Talk for Elite Thoroughbreds.

Delorosa is was a winner at 2 and is a half sister to Group 1 Golden Slipper placegetter Bring me the Maid. She hails from the family of Golden Slipper winner, Polar Success and Champion 3YO filly Cirlces of Gold (dam of Group 1 winner, Elvstroem).

Sale Comments:

This filly will be trainer by Multiple Group One winning trainer, Gary Portelli. Dr Brett Warren conducted a physical, full x-ray review and scope. He was deemed as low risk.

Current Status:

A real Sebring from an outstanding 2YO family being closely related to two Golden Slipper performers in Bring me the Maid and Polar Success. A lovely, neat, great walking filly!
