Authorisation
1. Definitions
1.1 “Applicable Laws” means all laws, regulations and codes relating to skill-based competitions, consumer protection, online safety and privacy in Australia.
1.2 “Competition” means a SLAMIT skill-based contest.
1.3 “Entrant” means a person who submits an entry into a Competition.
1.4 “Member” means a person with a registered SLAMIT account.
1.5 “Platform” means the SLAMIT website, mobile apps and competition systems.
1.6 “Prize” means any non-cash reward awarded by SLAMIT or its partners.
1.7 “Verification” means identity and eligibility checks conducted by SLAMIT.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Entry is only open to **Australian residents aged 18 years or older**.
2.2 **Only one SLAMIT account is permitted per person.** Duplicate or shared accounts are prohibited.
2.3 SLAMIT may require proof of age, residence or identity at any time. Failure to verify will result in suspension or disqualification.
2.4 Employees involved in SLAMIT competition operations and any banned Members are not eligible to participate.
3. Membership and Account Requirements
3.1 Members must provide accurate registration details and keep their account information up to date.
3.2 Members are responsible for maintaining account security. **Sharing, selling or transferring accounts is strictly prohibited.**
3.3 **SLAMIT may audit, suspend or terminate any account suspected of fraud, impersonation or misuse.**
3.4 SLAMIT may require identity Verification before awarding Prizes or allowing continued participation.
4. Nature of Skill-Based Competitions
4.1 **All SLAMIT Competitions are games of skill only and do not involve gambling, betting or chance.**
4.2 Competition outcomes are determined by skill, knowledge, analysis and judgment.
4.3 SLAMIT does not accept entry fees or financial stakes. Participation does not involve monetary risk.
5. Competition Entry
5.1 Entries must be submitted via the Platform before the posted deadline for each Competition.
5.2 **Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted under any circumstances.** SLAMIT is not responsible for network or technical delays.
5.3 By entering, all Entrants agree to be bound by these Rules and any Competition-specific terms.
6. Scoring and Leaderboards
6.1 Scores are calculated in accordance with the Scoring Rules for each Competition.
6.2 Live scores may be provisional and subject to verification.
6.3 SLAMIT may review and correct scoring errors before finalisation.
6.4 **SLAMIT’s leaderboard results are final and not negotiable.**
7. Tie-Break Rules
7.1 Tie-breaks apply where Entrants finish with identical scores.
7.2 Tie-breaks are based on skill factors only and must not involve chance.
8. Winner Selection and Verification
8.1 Winners are determined by final leaderboard position.
8.2 Winners must complete identity Verification to be eligible for Prizes.
8.3 **Failure to complete Verification will result in disqualification and Prize forfeiture.**
9. Prizes
9.1 Prizes may include merchandise, experiences, event access, or partner rewards.
9.2 Prize values are approximate and subject to change.
9.3 SLAMIT may substitute a Prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
10. Prize Conditions
10.1 **Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash under any circumstances.**
10.2 Winners are responsible for any costs associated with accepting a Prize unless stated otherwise.
10.3 Unclaimed Prizes may be forfeited after 14 days.
11. GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
11.1 All Entrants must comply with these Rules, Applicable Laws and all SLAMIT policies.
11.2 Entry into any Competition constitutes full acceptance of these Rules.
11.3 SLAMIT may refuse entry or cancel participation to protect Competition integrity or for legal compliance.
12. FAIR PLAY POLICY
12.1 All Competitions must be conducted fairly, honestly and in good faith.
12.2 Entrants must make their own selections without unauthorised assistance.
12.3 **Any attempt to gain an unfair advantage violates this Policy and these Rules.**
13. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
13.1 **SLAMIT will take immediate enforcement action against any prohibited conduct described in this Section.**
13.2 Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:
(a) Cheating, attempting to manipulate results or submitting fraudulent entries;
(b) Collusion, match fixing or forming syndicates to manipulate outcomes;
(c) Using multiple accounts, bots, scripts, macros or VPN masking to gain advantage;
(d) AI-assisted decision making or automated submissions;
(e) Identity deception, impersonation or use of another person’s account;
(f) Harassment, abuse, threats or intimidation towards other Members;
(g) Any conduct that interferes with fair Competition operation or Platform integrity.
14. PLATFORM INTEGRITY AND ENFORCEMENT
14.1 **SLAMIT may investigate, suspend or terminate any account to protect Competition integrity.**
14.2 **Abusive, threatening or hostile conduct towards SLAMIT staff, ambassadors, partners or Members is prohibited and will result in enforcement action.**
14.3 **SLAMIT reserves the right to refer suspected criminal conduct, fraud, syndicate activity or threats to law enforcement or regulatory authorities.**
15. ACCOUNT REVIEW AND DISQUALIFICATION
15.1 SLAMIT may review, restrict, suspend or permanently terminate any account at its discretion to protect Competition integrity or Platform security.
15.2 **SLAMIT may disqualify any Member found to be in breach of these Rules without notice.**
15.3 **SLAMIT is under no obligation to provide reasons for suspension, disqualification or termination and may refuse appeals at its discretion.**
15.4 Disqualified Members forfeit eligibility for Prizes, rewards or ongoing participation in SLAMIT Competitions.
16. INVESTIGATIONS AND EVIDENCE
16.1 SLAMIT may investigate any activity on the Platform to verify compliance with these Rules or Applicable Laws.
16.2 **SLAMIT may request evidence, records or supporting information from Members at any time as part of an investigation.**
16.3 Failure to cooperate with any investigation may result in suspension, disqualification or account termination.
16.4 SLAMIT may rely on system logs, audit trails, scoring analytics and third-party data providers as evidence.
17. LIABILITY AND RISK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
17.1 Members participate in Competitions at their own risk.
17.2 **To the maximum extent permitted by law, SLAMIT is not liable for any loss, damage, expense or claim arising from participation in Competitions or use of the Platform, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.**
17.3 SLAMIT excludes all conditions, representations, guarantees and warranties not expressly stated in these Rules.
17.4 Nothing in these Rules limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
18. TECHNICAL ISSUES AND PLATFORM AVAILABILITY
18.1 The Platform may be subject to maintenance, outages or delays.
18.2 **No compensation, refund or liability applies for technical issues, delays, server outages or maintenance windows.**
18.3 SLAMIT does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform.
18.4 SLAMIT is not responsible for technical failures caused by third-party providers, including data feeds or internet services.
19. PRIVACY AND DATA USE
19.1 SLAMIT collects and handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and Applicable Laws.
19.2 Data may be used for account administration, competition operations, fraud prevention and compliance purposes.
19.3 **By using the Platform, Members consent to the collection and lawful use of their information.**
19.4 SLAMIT does not sell personal data to third parties.
20. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
20.1 All SLAMIT content, trademarks, logos, designs, competition formats, scoring systems and media remain the exclusive property of SLAMIT.
20.2 Members must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or exploit SLAMIT intellectual property without prior written consent.
20.3 **Any unauthorised use of SLAMIT intellectual property is strictly prohibited.**
20.4 Members grant SLAMIT a licence to display usernames and leaderboard results as part of competition operations.
21. THIRD PARTY PARTNERS AND PRIZE PARTNERS
21.1 SLAMIT may work with sponsors, prize providers, venues and promotional partners.
21.2 SLAMIT is not responsible for the actions, products or services of third-party partners.
21.3 **Prizes or offers supplied by third parties are subject to their terms and conditions.**
21.4 SLAMIT may change or remove third-party partners at any time without notice.
21A. PLATFORM COMPLIANCE AND BRAND SAFETY
21A.1 Members must not act in any way that brings SLAMIT, its ambassadors, sponsors or partners into disrepute.
21A.2 **Misuse of SLAMIT branding, including logos or promotional materials, is strictly prohibited.**
21A.3 SLAMIT may remove or restrict any content that damages brand integrity or violates its policies.
21A.4 SLAMIT reserves the right to suspend or remove content, partnerships or Members to protect platform safety and reputation.
21A.5 **SLAMIT does not permit gambling promotion or wagering partnerships, and the Platform must not be used to market gambling products.**
21A.6 **Referral and Affiliate Compliance:** Promoters, ambassadors and referrers must not misrepresent SLAMIT, must comply with advertising standards, and must not describe SLAMIT as gambling.
22. VARIATION OF COMPETITIONS
22.1 SLAMIT may modify, suspend or cancel any Competition at any time for operational, integrity or safety reasons.
22.2 Changes may be made without prior notice where required for fairness, compliance or security.
23. BREACH AND ENFORCEMENT RIGHTS
23.1 **SLAMIT may take enforcement action for any breach of these Rules, including suspension, disqualification or account termination.**
23.2 Enforcement decisions are final and may be made without prior notice.
23.3 Breach of these Rules may also result in referral to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required.
24. TERMINATION OF ACCESS
24.1 SLAMIT may terminate or restrict Platform access at its discretion to protect Competition integrity, brand safety or legal compliance.
24.2 Members may close their account at any time by written request.
24.3 Termination does not affect SLAMIT’s rights regarding prior breaches.
25. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
25.1 These Rules are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
25.2 **Any dispute must first be submitted to SLAMIT in writing, and both parties must attempt to resolve the matter in good faith before any legal action is taken.**
25.3 Jurisdiction is exclusively the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
26. SEVERABILITY
26.1 If any provision of these Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
27. ASSIGNMENT
27.1 SLAMIT may assign or transfer its rights or obligations under these Rules without restriction.
27.2 Members must not transfer or assign any rights or obligations under these Rules without written consent from SLAMIT.
28. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
28.1 These Rules constitute the entire agreement between SLAMIT and Members in relation to SLAMIT Competitions.
28.2 These Rules replace any previous statements, policies or representations about Competitions.
29. UPDATES TO RULES
29.1 SLAMIT may update these Rules at any time. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Rules.
29.2 SLAMIT will display the most current version on its website at all times.
30. SKILL-BASED DISCLAIMER
30.1 SLAMIT does not offer gambling, wagering or games of chance. All SLAMIT Competitions are 100% skill-based.
30.2 No betting, odds, financial stakes or gambling features are used on the Platform.
FINAL DECLARATION
By accessing or using the Platform, all Members acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Official Competition Rules and any Competition-specific terms issued by SLAMIT.
